Upon graduating from Parsons Fashion Design school in 2006, I created my own fashion company, called ELENE CASSIS, which retailed in Neiman Marcus and more than 100 specialty boutiques nationwide. Due to tough economic circumstances, I closed my doors in 2012. I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years of my young life and convinced that this was my inspiration to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer in 2013. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I’m definitely a big believer that, with a strong and healthy heart, living, laughing and loving are so much more fun! I started my fitness training career at the flagship Crunch in Chelsea, where I dedicated myself as a full-time trainer, making certain that each and every client was cared for to the very best of my ability.

With massive hard work and dedication, I was promoted to an Assistant Manager and presented with the 2014 Presidential Club achievement award in honor of my passion and excellence in personal training. My passion is to provide individualized attention and focus on my clients’ goals, lifestyle, health conditions, nutrition and daily needs in order to improve their overall mental, emotional and physical well being. Implementing functional, low-impact, high-intensity interval training, clients confidently start to see an overall increase in their muscle and cardiovascular strength. It is my intention to educate clients on taking their short-term goals and incorporating them into a LIFE-long lifestyle mindset. From struggle comes so much strength. This is a lifelong journey, and it should include health and fitness!

From Struggle Comes Strength!

Mental Health is one of the absolute cornerstones of physical health. With all of life’s stresses, it’s easy to get bogged down and neglect our physical well-being. However, these two go hand-in-hand. I’ve witnessed the overbearing effects of tragedy and am passionate about sharing my story.

When I was younger, I witnessed the tragic drowning of my father, George Cassis. I frantically called 911 amidst overwhelming amounts of panic and distress. Shortly after the event, I began suffering from debilitating panic attacks. My doctors continually suggested anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications. Yet, I wanted to pursue a natural approach and focus on my physical well-being. I stopped my caffeine intake and limited my alcohol consumption to once per week. I started running and doing low-impact/ high-intensity workouts. I was amazed by the overall mental change that I felt and was able to eliminate my panic attacks.

The last panic attack I had was more than 13 years ago! Running and interval training have become a part of my soul, and I respect exercise like one does with their traditions, religion, passions and beliefs. I was able to make significant personal changes in my daily routines, which helped me achieve an overall happier, everyday life!

My passion revolves around people and fitness. No matter what you’re going through, I want to be here for you. Life is an amazing rollercoaster, and I want to be there to help you enjoy the ride! I look at helping you achieve your fitness goals as a partnership and eagerly offer any support I can to help!
